⑤ A Petting Zoo

After the break, I went back on the trail and started to ski again.
I found another cafe, which I didn't dropped by last year, on my map.
I started to want to have hot berry water, so headed for it smiling.

But...... What's that??
When I got to the cafe on the map,
It was a zoo, not the cafe...

I went in, and saw a playground for kids, the signboard with the prices
for admission, a painting of dog-sledge and horse back riding...
on the wall of a wooden building. And the cafe is next to the building.
Oh!! I see there it is!!

Also there was a barn for horses for horse back riding.

At the further back, There were some horses behind the fence, but also
some alpacas, cows, and a camel with a big humps next to them.

I thought that I needed to pay admiision from this area,
but nobody said me anything so I enjoyed sneakingly.

When I got close to the fence, the animals got close to me friendly too.
It might because the visitors always feed them and they are used to people.
They were like, "Oh!! What are they gonna feed us now!?!?" Lol!!

I was frozen to the bone so went into the cafe and warmed myself up.
Compared to the last cafe that I'd dropped by, they didn't have much cakes or pastries
but have many kind of heavy food, like pizzas and meatballs. I wasn't too hungry
that I had 2 or 3 pieces of cookies and a cup of hot berry water that I craved. RELAXING!!!!!

After the break, when I tried to go back on the trail,
there happened to be 2 reindeer resting in front of the entrance.
But unlucky me, they weren't moving much, just lying down being lazy.....

PORO!!!!!!!!!!
The name of each animal is displayed in Finnish and English.
On the name board for reindeer says "Poro" in Finnish.

THAT'S RIGHT!!
You guessed it right!!
The readers, who often have been checking my diary, probably recognize.
The local restaurant, which I always go to in Ylläs:PORO

Its name came from "Poro" in Finnish. I see!!!
For that reason, I got smarter and got another new Finnish word!!

To be continued!!
