⑯ Great Help, Gratitude, and Great Laugh!!

After taking a rest, I went back on the trail but got lost...... and ended up on a roadway.
So I got back to the cafe again and was completely at "SNOW " staring at the map......

Seeing me like that, an eldery married couple stopped and started speaking to me.
"Do you need help?? Where are you heading?? Give me your map!!"
Oh!! I was saved!!

So I asked him about my route. Then he replied right away. Excellent!!!!!
They said they come and enjoy skiing there every year so know of anywhere
in Ylläs as if they're a map themselves.
AWESOME!!!!!

He said,"We'll also pass the junction which you want on the way. Let's go together!!"
So I went with them and parted thanking them warmly.

Then, there was a funny story. When I was just about leaving the junction, I noticed there was
a party of three skiers who were also lost staring at their maps like me a moment ago. Then
I heard the elderly married couple also told them,"Hey!! Are you lost?? Give me your map!!"
What a service-minded elderly married couple they're!! Hahaha!!

------- To the Village Center -------

My route led me to the village center again.
The Scandinavia; Finland, Sweden, Norway, has lots of calming views
everywhere. I wanna have my own villa in Scandinavia one day!!

On the way, I cross-country skiied into a lake with a fine view.
The place is totally for Aurora/Northern Lights sightings too!!

There was a sign saying "YLLAS" and a map every entrance.

-------- Gerat Laugh!!! --------

Then I have a VERY FUNNY STORY!! Soon after I went through the entrance,
I faced a junction and was staring at the map. Then I was like "WHAT ?? AGAIN ??"
There they were, the elderly married couple who I'd met near the cafe skiing towards me.

"Hahahaha!!!!! Are you lost again?? You're hopeless..."
He said laughing out loud. Here it goes again, "GIVE ME YOUR MAP!!!!!!"
And he continued," Oh, this is in that direction!! Good luck!! Bye!!"
They took care of me as I excpected and it got me guffawing.

I saw Äkäslompolo lake again. A wooden arched bridge was on the trail
at the middle of northern edge of the lake. There was a nice view. It must be
more beautiful on the sunny days, good for pictures of Aurora/Northern Lights.

To be continued!!
