4:Beagle Channel

It still continued raining that morning.

In the morning, we went cruising on the Beagle Channel.

Like the map below, the Beagle Channel is the border
of Chile and Argentina, and it's about 240 km long.

It continued to be also cold since the day before and we got rained on.
But we enjoyed the cruise. Beagle Channel is very famous for the cruise
so that lots of other ships came and went one after another.

We could see many magellan cormorants and lion seals.

There is a lot of rocksa reefs so the ships often hit them in the area.
"Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse" was built to assist ships.

We completed the tour and got back to the port.
Because it was very very cold, we got into the ship and talked
with a man of the concession stand. He was very hospitable.

After we arrived at the port, we moved to a restaurant
in the town center for lunch. Unlike Buenos Aires,
since Ushuaia is the port town, we had fish for the main dish.

After the lunch, we went sightseeing of Ushuaia town center,
got ready for the cruise to Antarctica, and left Ushuaia in the evening.
To be continued!!
