⑩ The Most Beautiful Town in Lofoten "Reine"




● The townscape of Reine














I saw some wood structures. they're drying stations for codfish. The cod fishery is
the main industry in Lofoten so I can see them everywhere during this trip.



The sky was completely covered with the cloud and so dark. Lots of rocky mountains
rise sheer from the sea. The views showed me the asperity of Lofoten winters.


A building near the entrance of the town: a supermarket
Two small wooden huts that had ancient roofs of Lofoten houses, like "Warabukiyane," which
is one of the ancient Japanese traditional roofs, were on the terrace of the supermarket.



The hut was decorated with a skull of some fish. You might not be able to tell
how big it is from the picture but it was as big as the skull of human!!
