K The World Biggest Ice Hotel (2 of 2)

● Hallway and Guest Room

The main hallway
There were the entrances of
the hallways to guest rooms.

The hallway
to the guest rooms

There was just a curtain at the entrance of guest rooms, not a door.
Is it safe to leave any valuables??

Each guest room has many unique decorations and beds,
so it was more like the ice museum than the hotel.

● The Most Expensive Guestroom
Luckily, this time, I could see the most expensive room
called "Luxury Suite," Which isn't usually for public.
It costs about 700 euros ( 70000 yen) per night.

In the regular room, we just sleep in a sleeping bag
on the hard ice bed. On the contrary, we sleep on
a regular soft bed placed in the ice bed frame. Got it!!

The Special Room
"Luxury Suite"

Comfortable!!

● Observation deck on the 2nd floor
At the further back of the hotel, I went upstairs to the rooftop.
It was called "Aurora Balcony." Good!!
And I saw Torne river, which goes through behind the ice hotel.

I learned that the ice naturaly melts and goes into Torne river in Spring.
To the contrary, in Fall, the ice hotel starts to make its base with some big ice cubes
they made by themselves. Then they pick lots of ice up from the frozen Torne river

and put them on the base and complete it every year. Wow!!!! Nice!!

An outdoor passage like a maze leads to Torne river
and I saw a colourful freezer on the way.

The colorful freezer really
went well with the ice hotel.

I heard the barking so I followed
the sound and I saw a several dogs
being trained on the flozen Torne river.

To be continued!!
