I took an one day-trip for "World Biggest Ice Hotel." Early that morning, I headed for Jukkasjärvi (Kiruna) of Sweden, crossing the border of Finland and Sweden. |
There weren't any checkpoints and any border officers so I just went through the border (a buridge over Muonio river). |
It was the easiest border clossing that I've experienced ever. After entrying into Sweden, the sky got much clearer suddenly and the breathtaking views continued along the mortorway. |

The mortorway in Seden: The weather got much better!! |
Having a rest to do my business on the way, I got to Jukkasjärvi 3 hours after I left Äkäslompolo. But the Ice hotel tour was reservation-only |
and it couldn't be offered without any local guides so I had to spend the spare time having lunch and taking a rest at a restaurant nearby until he would arrive. |

Salmon and potage soup... everything was my taste!! I was so happy and really pleased with them. It was buffet style!! |
