⑬ The 2nd Aurora Experience

After being mesmerize by the great scenery at the summit, I skied down
to the rest point. It was easy going down but I fell down so many times to stop myself
because I was so scared to go down the hill full speed as all my hairs was almost standing up.....

● Point ④
I took a rest there, where I also went the last time. Last year, the lady was kind
to welcome me even after the closing time and showed me the way back to the foot.

Compared to last my visit, this time, it was packed during the open hours!!

A kota was next to the cafe and I warmed my self up there.
I should bring my own meat next time. Haha!!

● Point ⑤
Suddenly, the sky got cloudy and cloudy, so I started to ski down to the foot right away.

At the junction near the foot, There is a sign talking about wild animals and plants.
This area is in "Pallas-Ylläs National Park" so I saw sings like the picture below on the cross-country ski trails.

● Point ⑥
Before It got dark, I got to Äkäslompolo lake.
Just then, the sky got worse and it started to snow finally!! I was saved!!

---------- Dinner ----------
After skiing and shopping, the dinner time came!!
Today's Poro Special; Salmon soup, Reindeer stew, Chocolate cake!!

---------- The 2nd Aurora in This Trip ----------

After dinner, I looked up the sky at the lodge again and again but the cloud stayed until that evening.
But!! When I almost gave up, the cloud got thinner and I saw some strars in the sky at about half past 10.

I dashed to the lake. When I got there, I saw the 2nd Aurora/Northern Lights of this trip.
It was weaker than the 1st one, but it was dancing in between clouds in the sky.

About half and a hour later, It was gone.
It was -5℃ that night. On the cloudy days, the temperature gets higher than on the clear sky days.

So my 2nd victory made me fall asleep peacefully.... Good Night!!
