⑬ The 4th Lappish Meal Combo
& Aurora/Northern Lights

At about 7 p.m, in front of K-market, the temperature was already -15℃.
It had gotten colder than the other days since I arrived in Finland.

Before I went into K-market, I noticed people around me snickering at me..."What's so amusing??"
Then a security gard said,
"Hey!! Look at yourself in the mirror!! Haha!!"

WOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!
I noticed there was something terrible with my head, looking at myself reflected
in the glass automatic door. The frozen ice covering my hair is totally snow white!!

Suddenly, I was embarrassed.......... so reluctanly went into K-market,
and sure enough I was laughing stock of everyone including every children..........

------ Today's dinner ------

"PORO TIME" came!! Today's Lappish meal combo. "Traditional salmon cream soup
with toasted rye bread," "Fried salmon, melted butter, mashed potatoes
and only a bit of salad," and "Salmon burger.".... Salmon special!!

To my dissapointment, this picture was taken with my cellphone camera,
because the lenses of my SLR were fogged up with condensation, which is caused
by the big temperature gap between inside and outside, so it didn't come out so well.....

----- Long Time No See You!! -----

After dinner, when I walked back to the lodge, I looked up the sky.
It was so clear and
ALL STARS!!!!! REALLY GOOD!!!!! I was full of enthusiasm.

At 9 p.m, I headed for Äkäslompolo lake. When I got there,
I could see Aurora/Northern Lights appearing over the lake already!!
Oh!!!!! Long time no see you!!!!! My love!!!!!

I ran swiftly onto the frozen lake, set up my SLR on my tripod, and took lots of pictures exitedly.
And there were also some people shouting for joy around me.

One after another, it added variety to its shape and lightness, and I could see it waving beatifuly sometimes.

It was such a cold night but I was ALL RIGHT as I totally forgot about it.
But when it slowed down and started to fade out, I felt cold and my fingers and toes
started to get numb suddenly. Damn!! Let's go back to the lodge quickly!!

To be continued!!
