④ To the Ski School

Because of the exhaustion from the night before, I slept very deeply......
Then I had breakfast and took a nap until lunch.

From the afternoon, I tried cross-country skiing which Ylläs is famous for.
Even though the storm somewhat died down, the sky was completley covered
with the cloud but I should enjoy my trip so went skiing, lifting my spirit.

---------- To the Ski School ----------

I asked a receptionist about a ski school because I'd never experienced cross-country skiing before.
She introduced me the ski school at the village and booked it for me.
They had 2 courses: ( 50 minutes and 90 minutes ). Then she recommended me the longer one.

The ski school is located at the foot of Mt. Ylläs. I could go there by the ski buses which operate
between the village center and the ski slope 5 to 6 times a day stopping each lodge.

After checking in, they introduced me a male instructor and we shook hands.
He's in his early 20's with very shiny white skin for a ski instructor, long brown hair, beautiful blue eyes,
long arms and long legs. And he's a typical handsome caucaisian guy with tall, slim, and fit body figure.

Probably female students can't focus on the lesson because of his beauty.

I told him my foot size and height and rented the gears.

They measured me like this.
It was my 1st experience!!

The gears for cross-country skiing
Poles and skis are much shorter and
thiner than the ones for down-hill skiing.

To be continued!!
