８：Rubber Boats
| Before the evening, we made it to Daman Bay in Melchior Islands (circled in blue), the final distination of the day. |

First we were supposed to take a lesson for taking a rubber boat and have dinner. That'all. But when we got there much earlier |
| than the schedule so we could try rubber boats luckily. Hooray!! We were devided into eight groups; 10 or 12 people |
| with one of expedition staffs on each boat. And, each 8 boats left from the back of "Sea Spirit"for the sea one after another.  |
Riding the rubber boat on the icy cold water was very thrilling but very interesting and enjoyable!  |

During the cruise, cormorants, a few kinds of penguins, fur seals, and kelp gulls... we could find many wild animals in the Antarctica.      To be continued!! |
