| After sightseeing, we were supporsed to experience the hot spring near the beach before we got back to Sea Spirit. I'd been waiting for it!! |
Because the Deception island is the volcano, the hot water near the beach and the icy cold Antarctica sea get mixed up. it makes the temperature of the hot supring perfect!! |
But....... on that day, the volcano activity was much weaker than usual... and also because of the high tide, we experienced swimming in the icy cold sea not the hot spring... Boo...Hoo... |
After that, we heard that the water temperature was just 2 degrees and it might be under 0 degree on the place where Sea Spirit awaited. |

| After Deception island, we headed for "Livingston Island," the final sightseeing spot of this Antarctica cruise. |

When we saw the rock wall of Deception island outside, we could see that it was colored in different colours exceptionally maybe because it was the volcano...  |

Just at the lunch time, some humpback whales swam just in front of us and led us. All paseangers left the lunch and russhed up to the deck. |
