The sky got darker and darker so I went to the restaurant
for dinner before going out, and had the salmon dish that night too.
After the dinner, I went to the hot springs. I regretted not to bring my
SLR
there with me as I missed the beautiful sunset from the hot springs.
|
Just before the closing time, I went to the restaurant for one cocktail
drink.
In the menu, "Moose Soda" caught my eyes. It says, "It's a mixture of the flozen alcohol,
|
lemon and grape juice." It sounded so interesting that I couldn't
stop myself from ordering it
and it tasted much better that I'd imagined. It looked like melon juice but tasted totally different.
|
The midnight came soon!! The locals said, "Aurora/Northern Lights
always appear
at about 1 or 2 o'clock in the morning," so I practiced taking pictures
as a rehersal right away.
|
The starry sky over Chena Hot Springs Resort was breathtaking and the best
ever.
It seemed as if the sky was studded with lots of diamonds and I was drank
with its beauty.
|
At about 2 o'clock, Aurora/Northern Lights appeared eventually.
To my disappointment, it was so small that even my naked eyes couldn't
see it well.
|
And it started to get cloudy quickly so I went back to my room. But my
SLR captured it.
Considering Aurora/Northern Lights in Finland last year,
I couldn't count this as my Aurora experience......
|
I've completed my schedule for today. Good Night!!! |
