P Exploring Moshi

The breakfast!! Crapes, fried veggies, and many kinds of fruits... So Africa!!
Because there weren't any meats so I had a little complain but I got stuffed.

I looked at Mt.Kilimanjaro from the hotel.
Just 2 days ago, we were there and enjoying the treck.

---------- Moshi Town Center ---------

I had some time to spare to get some souvenirs until my flight
so Tammy, Franziska and I walked around Moshi town center.

The amount of street
stands was much more
than supermarket.

XXX books were there too!!
I wanted to get one!! Lol

---------- Local Souvenirs ---------

Tammy and I parted from Franziska, because she told us that
she wanted to stop by somewhere. So Tammy took me
to a supermarket. In Moshi, there were just small supermarkets
but I could get some local items that we can't find any other places.

The most famous beers
in Tanzania, which
Tammy recomended me!

Veggie chips:
We had banana chips
like the left one as a
breakfast at the hotel.
It was very good!!

kilimanjaro tea:
(Black tea)
We always drank it
during the trip.

---------- A Rude Homeless ---------

After I finished choosing the souvenirs, I was in line in front of a cashier.
Then, an old lady with one leg and a crutch got close to me and talked to me.
So we cheerfully talked. But suddenly, she said, "Hey, you know,
I just have one leg. So give me some money!!" But I was very very scared
because I didn't know much about Tanzania and it was the 1st time for me
to experience a homeless begging me for money. I didn't know what to do...

On top of that, she strongly started push herself towards me
when I took my money out of my purse to pay at the cashier.
It was like as if she was saying to me, "Hey!! Give me some!!," hitting me with her elbow.

Then, when the cashier gave back some changes to me,
again she started to elbow me again and again. Finally,
I exploded from the frustration. I shouted at her, "Hey!! Go away!!"

I sympathized her who had some problems in the past. But I don't like people
like her who think that they can do anything to get money because of their misfortunes.
It's not something that people should force others to help them
because their misfortunes are nothing to do with other people.

What I mean is......
At the platform, I often see old people who want to have a priority seats
ingore the line and try cut in. I think the lady was the same.
It doesn't matter if you're a Japanese or foreigner,
I don't like this type of people and don't want to be kind to them!

After I went outside, I asked Tammy, "Hey, what's up with her?
You also always see many rude homeless like her? Do I have to help her?"
Then, he replied," No! You don't have to! It's not a duty.
Never mind. You didn't get wrong," to make me feel better.

To be continued!!
