⑬ Arrived in Tromsø

| After lunch, we drove past Evenes airport and went to this point from where we could see the town of Narvik over the inlet. On the way, there were some view points for me to enjoy the scenery but the awful weather made all spoiled... Hmm... And there is also the junction to Sweden.   |
After we drove down the hill, I took a rest in the town center. At that moment, the sky was getting clear and the clouds started to break suprisingly, and I saw the beautiful sunset from the coast in the evening. So magical!!!!  |
After I got to Tromsø and checked in the hotel, I went to "Sommarøy," the lightless town in the neighboring island for Aurora/Northern Lights that night. The sky just got completely clear with lots of stars. PERFECT!!!!! I waited for Aurora/Northern Lights to show itself at a small hotel in Sommarøy keeping myself warm. |
 It gives me Lofoten mood at the entrance. |
 I had dinner here where I felt the history of Norway. |
Today's dinner!! Some salmon creamy soup and some bread. I was so happy with the smorgasbord!! Hooray!!  I lifted my spirit up for Aurora/Northern Lights by satisfying my appetite with some warm soup. While I was waiting for it, I took the pictures of the moon and lots of stars in the beautiful night sky.  |
Even though the sky was clear, No Aurora/Northern Lights to be seen. I waited for it until 10 p.m but was lucked out... I was CHOKED!! I couldn't see it in the clear sky and went back to the hotel. To be continued!! |
