⑲ So Long, Finland!!

The day I had to leave Ylläs came.
Until the checkout time, I struggled with packing my luggage.

I wanted to reduce the amount of the local gift for my friends
and my family as much as I could, but Mooming, Santa Clause...
There were lots of things I had to buy. So it was very difficult to make all
fit in the suitcase. I felt like I was playing the game of Tetris!
Finally!! I GOT IT DONE!! And left the hotel.

---------- Heading for Kittilä Airport ----------

I headed for Kittilä airport a bit far from Ylläs. I like the scenery under the clear sky
as well as under the cold and cloudy sky like the picture below. So Northern Country!!

An hour later, I made it there. It's the small local airport.

I submitted my passport and I got my tax on the local gift back.
In Finland, the tax is very expensive but when we buy something
more than 40 euros, they return some of the tax back to us.
After the check-in, I headed for Helsinki by a domestic plane.
Good bye Lapland!! Thanks for the great nature!!

An hour later, I left Kittilä and got to Helsinki. I had a spare time until my departure,
so I went shopping around the airport. The amount of my luggage got bigger again...
The time flied so fast and I went through the gate. Then, a pretty Finnish lady smiled at me
and said, "Konnichiwa" in Japanese to me. So I replied back, "Kiitos! Hey hey!!"
in Finnish language, which means "Thank you! Good bye!"

And I left fot Tokyo. Good bye, Finland! Thanks for the lovely 7 days!!

The 1st in-flight meal: I got a bottle of wine for free.

During the flight, it was night. Good Night until we arrive in Tokyo zzz...

But... my seat was in the middle section and right next to me
over the aisle was a baby. The baby was crying during the flight.
OMG!! I couldn't sleep at all......

On the 1st day of my trip, I got a pair of ear plugs
at a supermarket in Helsinki, so I put them in and managed to try
to save myself from the noise. But... NO GOOD AT ALL!!
