⑬ Snow Village 4 Years Later

After driving for 30 or 40 minutes, we made it there. I hadn't been there since 2015!

---------- GAME OF THRONES ----------

At the entrance, the guide told us about the museum,
our free-time until the time we would meet together again....
Now! It's the time to explore the exhibition the museum!!

As I told you in my Finland trip 2015, its design changes every year
so that I never get bored even though I get back there again and again.
The theme of Snow Village 2019 is "Game of Thrones"

There was a bar in the museum. When I took some pictures,
a young lady gave me a peace sign. I liked it!!

In each room, the ice was shaped for the theme of each year.

It's fun and interesting to just see it! But most visitors
might noy find it fun and interesting like me...

After the exploration, I was late for the gathering time... SO SORRY!!
But, the guide very kindly said to me, "Take it easy! Take it easy!
We have an extra time to take some rest."
seeing me rushing. And we all had nice conversations

with some bread and some hot drink. Snacks and drinks were included
in the price of the tour. Thank you for the great time!!

---------- Got back to Äkäslompolo----------

When we were outside, as the heavy snow kept continuing
strongly, I couldn't open my eyes so well even
in a short distance from the entrance to a parking lot.

When we headed for the village center, I was very surprised and was jealous of the dutch couple
to hear that they had a direct flight to Kittilä from Amsterdam; the capital of Holland
and it just took two and a half hours. So I told them how hard for me to get to Ylläs and I had to
take the much longer time to make it there. Then they replied to me, "No way!!" being surprised.
But... actualy, The flight time to Finland from Japan is the shortest.. If we wanna visit other places
for Northern lights (Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Alaska, and Canada...), we need much more time...

To be continued!!
