⑧ Memorable Lake "Luosu Lake"

On the 3rd morning, I went up to the restaurant on the 2nd floor for breakfast.
Like last morning, noisy Japanese tourists were there. Then I heard.....

"We were so happy to see Aurora/Northern Lights!!" "We were so glad to see very nice ones!!"
"They were so beautiful!!" "It was a little cloudy but we saw them moving behind the clouds!!"

HOW ANNOYING!!

But!! As I'm a happy-go-lucky guy, my mood recovered after many meatballs later. Haha!!

After the breakfast, I started skiing!!

● Point ①:Velhon Kota
The 1st rest point
This Kota doesn't have lots of kind of sweets, but it's a cafe
with one of the best Lappish mood, so I go there every year.

The wooden chairs and desks with the warmth of the locals,
candles, and a fire place...... All is perfect!!

Cinnamon Roll : One of the most famous sweets in Finland
The most commonly available pastry at every cafe in Finland

● Route②
After the break, while I was heading for Lousu Lake
(point③),
The cloud got thiner and thiner, and the sun started to shine.
About Time!!

It was great to have the sunny sky, but the trail here was difficult.....
After I skied down from point①, I hit a flat trail, which continued as far as I could see.
I almost shouted, "Where are you continuing to!?!?!?!"

One of the fun things about cross-country skiing is to enjoy many kind of sceeneries,
but the trail like the picture above continued about 2hours and really made me bored.....

● Point ③:Luosu Lake
Completing the longest boring trail eve; route②, I managed to get to Lousu Lake; my final distination.
5 years ago, I took a local bus tour for Aurora/Northern Lights, and went there for the 1st time in my life.

I remembered that I took some pictures of not only Aurora/Northern Lights but also trees and huts,
thinking the structure of photos there. And I also saw Aurora/Northern Lights on tha frozen lake.

The cafe, which I used to warm myself up while I was waiting
for Aurora/Northern Lights 5 years ago, was still there!!

Long time no see!! Nothing has been changed!!

5 years ago, It took one hour to get there by bus, but it took 3 hours cross-country skiing
this time. I can't believe that I could make it there cross-country skiing

To be continued!!
