After dinner, when I left the restaurant, it was too good to be true, there were some patches of starry sky!! Each patch was getting bigger and bigger and the moon showed its face too!! VERY GOOD!!!!! |

I hurriedly put the ski wear on and went onto the frozen Äkäslompolo lake with my camera and a tripod. The starry sky and cloud were even in the sky for about 30 minutes but the sky was completely covered with the cloud again eventually. I was on the lake for a while but the sky didn't change so I gave up. To my disappointment, there was no Aurora/Northern Lights to be seen...... |

I couldn't catch Aurora/Northern Lights but could see the beauty of the night sky in Lapland. It was the best weather I got for the whole trip↓↓↓  |
