At first, I flew with KLM and had a 11-hours-flight from Tokyo to Moscow; the capital of Russia. When we landed there and |

looked out of the window of the plane, evrything was white with snow and ice!! While we were waiting for the plane |

to refuel, went shopping around the airport. There were lots of Matryoshka dolls all over there |

But... in those days... Moscow was the capital of Union of Soviet Socialist Republics aka "The country surrounded by iron curtains." |

So, some minutes after we landed, we had to close the window of the plane. It doesn't stop there, soldiers stood, and |
| taking pictures wasn't allowed in the airport at all. How tense!! |
We again got on the plane and got to Amsterdam; the capital of Holland in 3 hours. It was midnight |
|
and rained, and was very quiet in the airport. After we checked in, fell asleep. Good Night!! |
