œ Shanghai #1

China Eastern Airlines

It just took about 2 hours to get to Shanghai
from Kansai International airport. Right before we landed,

we saw yellow sea along the seashore. How dirty....

œ Trouble #1
We saw the 1st trouble right after we went out of the airport...

When we were looking for how to get to a hotel,
5 or 6 dirty men, who were staring at us, came and talked to us.
We couldn't get what they told to us, but we guessed
they would drive us to the hotel, so we followed to them.

But!! we were too easy...
one of them took us to a car and left us there,
saying, "Just stay here for some minutes!!"
And He got back to the others and talked about something
together for a while. We felt it was very strange and didn't like it.

Then, we found the windshield had a crack on it
and got the driver's picture and name and the taxi meter

point downward. On top of that, one of us found a few drops
of something red in his seat. They looked like blood!!
Eww...The strange mood totally turned us off, and
We escaped from the car without being noticed.

After that, we caught a good taxi to the hotel
and it cost just about 50 Chinese yuan.
Compared to it, the driver of the strange group
said to us it would cost 200 Chinese yuan to the hotel.

Oh, No!! We almost got ripped off exactly.....
It woudn't stop there, the car might take us
somewhere strange, not to the hotel,
and we never knew what they would do
next, If we would have been in thier car...
œ Trouble #2
We forgot the past and and make a fresh start.
We had a supper at a restaurant near the hotel
and took a walk a littel. Even thogh, Shanghai is a big city,
99% of the shops was already closed at about 9 p.m. and
the city got very dark and quiet. Itlooked like a ghost town.

Then, lots of beggar-looking children surrounded us without noticing.
They were very dirty and walked up to us and forcibly pull on our clothes
as if they were gonna say "Give something me! Give something me!"

They all were just chirdren as far as we could look around, but we guessed
thier boss (some adults) might be so close. Even though
there were only children, we were very flightened because the number
of them was too much. So we escaped into the hotel... Good Night!
