1:The Furthest Region from Japan on Earth
"South American Continent"

My dream came true!! This time, I joined in a tour. There were about 90 travelers
from Hokkaido to Kyushu gathered at Narita International Airport.
I was very surprised to see that Antarctica trip was very famous and popular.

There were 4 tour conductors and we were divided into 4 groups and headed for Atlanta, Georgia.
I watched my favorite movie "Avater," and had some shuteye here and there.

I had two flight meals on the way.
Even though the flight meals were instant meals, they tasted good to me
because it was the 1st time to have them in 13 years since 1998 when I went to Alaska.

----- Arriving in Atlanta -----

About 12 hours after we left Tokyo, we made it to Atlanta. We got through the gate to go out
and went through the gate again to Argentina. Since nine-eleven, the security got much tighter.
The custom process... we had to spend 2 hours to complete. Very busy.

Until the departure, I went around the restaurant area and I found a Chinese restaurant.
I, who love Chinese food, decided to go in there right away without hesitation.

I saw a black man cooking. I felt strange that the black man cooking it.
How was the taste, you ask?? Hmm... not too good...
I was very glad about their large portion size. If non-Chinese chefs serve
Chinese food, I want them to study how to cook Oriental meals propery.

----- Arriving in Buenos Aires -----

The time I had to leave Atlanta came at about nine o'clock at night.
The 2nd two in-flight meals!!

About 10 hours after we left Atlanta, we got to the "Ezeiza International Airport"
in Buenos Aires. When I went out of the airport, it was very very hot!
Yes, you know, in South Hemisphere, it was summer.

Right away, I took off my jacket and was only in my T-shirt. And we all gathered at the gate.
The total hours of flight from Japan to South American continent was about 22 hours
(28hours including transfer in Atlanta). I had to spend more than 1 day from Japan.
Wow!! I felt that the earth is very big!!
