29：The Good-bye Party held by the Captain
Tha Drake Passage was so calm enough for us
to make it to the Beagle Channel a half day earlier than we were scheduled.



At the entrance of Beagle Channel, some sea bireds welcomed us.



A bit further from the entrance (the red circle on the map),
we stopped and stayed. If we had gone through the channel,
we might have made it to Ushuaia on that evening, not early morning
the next day. If we had made it to Ushuaia on that day,
Sea Spirit had to pay extra money to the port so we had to stay there tonight...

Until the evening, the tour conductors explained tomorrow's schedule and
gave the information on getting off the Sea Spirit. Also, everyone shared thier pictures,
and the expedition staffs collected all and made DVDs adding thier pictures on it.
Three or four of my pictures made it on the DVDs, Yay!!

It was the final night for the Antarctica cruise, the captain
gave us the good-bye party. He started greeting.




After the greeting, we enjoyed the dinner with some alcohol.
Like the welcome party, the 1st glass of alcohol was free.

　　

When we finnished the dinner, all the Sea Spirit staffs and sailors brought out
cut ice cakes dancing. I liked the mood very much but the ice cake was much better. I loved it!!



The party was very successful!! Everyone was so happy at the party.
In the end, I posed with the captain and the expedition staffs together for a picture.

　

After the party, we packed, Good Night!!
