I stayed up late last night so was planning to sleep until noon. But the sky was so clear that I just had to leave the lodge and went for breakfast. In Alaska, I often saw an omlet and roasted potato combo for breakfast.

I asked a receptionist about the hiking trails nearby. And then she gave me a trail map in Japanese without me using Japanese. I noticed many Japanese come here all year round, so they prepare

their information, brochures, maps, and menus at the restaurant...... all in Japanese in advance. Awesome!!

This trail didn't have such a steep slope so that I saw many elderly Japanese people. Beautiful rain drops!!

I saw lots of blueberry leaves in not only Denali National Park but also here. I tried some. They tasted good even though I didn't wash them. When I went deep into the forest, I hit the trail with colourful leaves which looked like they were burning!! To be continued!!
